Melika and Nate’s love story is one of warmth, family, and deep-rooted connections. After an intimate winter wedding with their closest loved ones, they chose to celebrate their marriage the following fall with a joyful wedding celebration just outside of Milwaukee.

A Wedding Celebration on a Cherished Family Property

Ahead of their wedding, Melika welcomed me onto her family’s stunning property, a place overflowing with love and memories. Every corner held a story—trees planted for family members’ births, wildflower meadows teeming with life, lush gardens providing food for their family, and hidden coves that felt like secret escapes. This was more than just a wedding venue; it was a reflection of immense of love and care - and a tribute to her incredible mom.

A Joyful Jubilee Under the Stars

To honor this special place, Melika and Nate hosted a Joyful Jubilee—a vibrant, heartwarming gathering of family and friends. Their outdoor wedding ceremony took place by the water, where they were surrounded by a gentle breeze and the serene beauty of their pond.

Following the ceremony, guests embarked on a unique experience—drink stations thoughtfully placed around the property, inviting them to explore and appreciate its beauty. As the sun set, the night transformed into a magical celebration under the stars, with Greek dancing, heartfelt moments, and, of course, a dance floor filled with joy (and a little Gloria!).
