Leila + Jack | Deliciously Sun-Kissed Summer Evening Engagement Session | Milwaukee, WI

Ohhhhhh how I am dreaming of summer days, fine I will take spring! I have been living up these beautifully sun-kissed photos from Leila + Jack’s summer engagement session in Lake Park. When they mentioned bringing their pups, my answer was obviously “heck yes!” If you are just here for the puppy content, we all understand!

When I first met these two, they shared how Jack proposed, and as a former elementary school teacher, and LOVER of children’s books, I almost fell off my chair (also we were at a wine bar, so who knows really). Jack contacted the Author/Illustrator of Leila’s favorite children’s book, Octopuppy by Martin McKenna to create a custom illustration for them - AND HE DID!!! (you can check it out here!) The octopus is drawn with them and their pups, holding and engagement ring - I CANNOT TAKE IT! Can you?? I knew we were meant to be!

Not only are these two just adorable (as you will see), they are amazing people. They are active in their communities, taking part in cool non profit work (800 bonus points), and just incredibly kind. We laughed our bums off, melted in the sun, and frolicked through Milwaukee on this magical evening.

If you are lucky enough to know these two, or even bump into them, your life is absolutely better for it.
