Kristen + Jon - Upper East Side NYC Engagement

In January of 2014, eight years after they began seeing each other, Jon proposed to Kristen, his high school sweetheart. Much like any normal night, the couple went to the local piano bar that they often frequented since moving uptown. However, unbeknown to Kristen, this would be no normal night at Brandy’s. After about an hour of live music and a subtle nod between the piano player and Jon, the opening notes to Elton John’s “Your Song” began to play. Matt got the attention of everyone at the bar and said “Everyone, this is Jon and Kristen. And Jon has a very important question to ask Kristen.” Before Kristen could realize what had happened Jon was on his knee, which drew a roar from the Brandy’s crowd. Sealing the moment with an undeniable “Yes”, the moment is one that they will forever remember and cherish.

These two were so filled with laugher and love for one another. I couldn't help falling in love with them either, watching the effortless ease that passed between them.

Jon and Kristen still live their apartment on the Upper East Side and are planning for their wedding, which is fast approaching in 2016. They remain incredibly happy and every day fall a little more in love with each other.
