Oh this intimate summer wedding! Grace is the most incredible, no nonsense nurturer teacher you could ever dream of your child having (so you know I adore her), and Sergio’s kindness for everyone around him and love for Grace is every person’s dream for their friend/child’s partner!

I have have had the honor of knowing Grace, working with her, and loving her friendship for a few years now. Being in a new job and new city isn’t easy, but Grace welcomed me into her work space and her life with open arms and for that I will be always grateful. I remember meeting up with her over the summer at Good City to chat life etc. She told me she had just gone on a date with this new guy Sergio, she was all smiles and it was clear there was a spark there. Imagine my glee when she had a guest speaker in her classroom few months later, and this tall handsome man strolls in (cue Sergio!). Her students had 800 questions for him, but he still walked out of there smiling and came back for future visits. If thirty 8 year olds approve, and don’t scare him away you know he is a keeper!

They went back and forth about what their wedding would look like, where it would be - the pandemic absolutely ended up guiding this. BUT let me say - this wedding was them. An intimate church ceremony, a mariachi parade to their home with an outdoor cocktail hour, followed by a VERY intimate dinner at Cafe Centaal. I LOVED this day! I love all of my weddings, but the way they made each part of this day so much their own I could not have adored it more.
